This sentence characterizes our work: The 12-year-old girl, her parents’ only child, is confronted with excessive demands: to marry, to ensure the continuation of the family and the religion. She dies—but Jesus raises her from the dead and asks her parents to feed her.
Safeguarding creates a protected environment for healing and thriving.
In our courses, we form safeguarding observers and safeguarding officers.
We coach institutions on a comprehensive way of safeguarding: to sign a safeguarding-act for a safe surrounding for working and living. Institutions can obtain a safeguarding accreditation.
We provide consulting for persons in trouble.
We promote creativity and fruitful collaboration in research, but also in, what we call, “wounded art”.
We coordinate our work with faculties and other institutions promoting safeguarding, with existing networks and organizations for victims of abuse.
